Gallbladder Polyps Pain Medication I Had A Negative Gallbladder Sonogram, But Have Severe Upper Quadrant Pain.?

I had a negative gallbladder sonogram, but have severe upper quadrant pain.? - gallbladder polyps pain medication

I was awakened at 5-day clock with pain in the right upper quadrant, right at the base of my ribs ... The pain continued for most of the morning, sometimes to the point that I felt flarring could not breathe or move. Sometimes the pain of half of the abdomen of about 5 centimeters above the navel and below my rib cage is spread. the right side of my back feels a little weak. I saw my PCP on 1130AM and had a gallbladder ultrasound at 2pm. Report negative reading for the stones, but in 2004 had similar symptoms, and 2 large stones in the gallbladder. However, there was a reference to a Gallenblasenpolyp only. Not sure about the extent of seriousness, but I understand that the polyps are painless. I had an appendix operation in 1989, then this is not the culprit. I have over 12 pounds in the last 3 weeks of appetite and occasional nausea / vomiting. Please, what else could cause this pain? I am 20 q prilosec d. ..

I am not a doctor, warning that if the standards do not apply here, too.

I recommend that you seek a second opinion on the polyp, possibly by a doctor or specialist. Especially if you have gallstones in the past. He told the doctor that the polyp is large? Polyps larger than 1 cm were more disturbing than smaller polyps do. Anyway, even if you have symptoms, follow up with a specialist in conjunction with the results of the analysis is important.

Good luck getting this resolved and please let me know what you think.
